Every month seems to bring a new trading strategy based on nothing but the time of year. Whether we’re selling everything for a month or season or taking on more risk so Santa can bring us returns for Christmas, these strategies seem to become fact every time they happen more than once in a row. But as usual, the market does not care what month it is or what it did last year. In 2014, seasonal trading strategies were once again beat by a sound investment strategy that ignores the noise.
