Associate Integrated Wealth Advisor
Brent Lange serves as an Associate Integrated Wealth Advisor at Carlson Capital Management. As part of the advisory team, Brent collaborates with clients and advisors across the firm on all aspects of planning and portfolio management. With an extensive background in the financial sector, Brent has great appreciation for Carlson Capital Management’s integrated and sound investment approach. He enjoys combining his passion for building client relationships that are grounded in regular communication with comprehensive financial analysis and planning.
Brent’s exemplary career began in the U.S. Army National Guard where he honed his leadership skills and was selected to attend Officer Candidate School. He is a veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brent is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and a minor in accounting. He went on to receive his master's degree in economics from South Dakota State University. Prior to joining CCM, Brent spent nearly a decade serving as an examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. With a focus on large institutions, Brent's responsibility for assessing risk provided him with significant knowledge across all investment vehicles and asset classes. Most recently, Brent led a team of wealth management advisors serving high net worth individuals. Brent holds his Certified Financial Analyst designation and is a candidate for CFP® certification.
Brent is a Compass Program Mentor at Wayzata High School where he meets with students weekly to discuss business and economics, and is a member of the Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Club. He lives in Wayzata, Minnesota, with his wife Andrea and young daughter. He enjoys living an active outdoor lifestyle of skiing, hunting, mountain biking, camping, and more.
