Planning for the unexpected and saving for the future are important values that guide my day-to-day decisions. From a young age, I was taught to prioritize saving. I put this into action when I started my first job at Hy-Vee at the age of 14 by making sure to set aside a large portion of my paycheck for savings. I've been working for many years now, and I haven’t broken that routine. My interest in saving naturally led me to research other personal finance topics, such as retirement planning, credit scores and credit cards, investing vs paying off debts, and purchasing a car or home. I have a passion for investing and I'm delighted to use it to help better serve our clients and to provide value-added services to the firm.
