Professional Biography
As a Marketing & Communications Generalist at Carlson Capital Management, Christa Hurley collaborates with colleagues to enhance the client experience and build brand awareness. She helps to produce high quality communications across a variety of channels and holds responsibility for managing the firm's digital presence. As a Generalist, her work spans the full array of CCM's marketing and communication strategies and initiatives. In addition, Christa is a key steward of the firm's mission, vision, and culture.
Christa is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. Before joining the CCM team, Christa worked as a digital and marketing lead where she managed a large building company's marketing initiatives, including a special focus on digital communications and event planning.
Christa grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and now proudly calls Newport, Minnesota home. She enjoys golfing, gardening, and organizing and is an active volunteer with Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, Secondhand Harvest, United Way, American Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity.
Personal Thoughts There are many reasons why an elephant is my favorite animal, but something that has always stood out to me is that elephants have incredible memories. Maybe you’ve heard, “An elephant never forgets.” To embrace this expression, I enjoy giving elephants as a gift to represent “I’ll never forget you.” or “Here's a way to remember me.” Since I cannot give you an elephant gift from my bio, I’ll share my first memories with Carlson Capital Management. CCM gave me a welcoming impact I will never forget.
From the moment I found CCM online, to the moment I walked in the door, everyone was more than inviting. You can easily see how much this team cares about each other. There is a true compassion and level of trust in everyone. The conversations and relationship-building started instantly. Being part of a firm that is personable, committed, and philanthropic gives me a sense of ease. I recognized quickly that I am a part of something truly wonderful.
