Professional Biography

Colin Lodermeier is a Senior Tax Advisor at Carlson Capital Management and CCM Tax & Trust Administration, a commonly-held affiliate of Carlson Capital Management. Colin works closely with the advisory team to deliver clients fully integrated wealth management services, lending his experience to proactive tax planning. As a member of the Tax Team, Colin has responsibility for preparation, review, and completion of individual and trust tax returns and tax projections. He also participates in client meetings and serves as a tax resource for clients. Colin provides service both individually and collaboratively with other advisors to develop customized recommendations.

Prior to joining CCM, Colin worked for nearly eight years in progressively responsible roles with RSM US, LLP, in Rochester, Minnesota—most recently as a Lead Tax Manager. In this role, he provided counsel around a variety of complex tax situations for high net worth individuals and businesses, and he is well versed in issues of compliance and risk management. Colin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Colin is a graduate of Winona State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is a long-time, active volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House, United Way, and the Boys and Girls Club, all of Rochester. Outside of work, Colin enjoys hunting, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Colin and his wife, Kamie, grew up and reside in Goodhue, Minnesota, with their three young children.
