Professional Biography

John (Jack) Cronin is an Associate Integrated Wealth Advisor at Carlson Capital Management. As part of the Advisory Team, Jack collaborates with clients and advisors across the firm on all aspects of planning and portfolio management. He is responsible for facilitating client meetings, preparing presentation materials, and assisting with portfolio management. In addition, Jack is responsible for a strong working knowledge of and leveraging of firm technology to best serve clients. Jack holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® designation granted through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Jack graduated from Saint John’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in global business leadership. While at Saint John’s, Jack provided leadership on numerous fronts. He was responsible for the oversight of a team of 25 student workers and he volunteered as an afterschool homework tutor for elementary school students. In addition, despite the incredible challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Jack completed an internship with a London-based firm to collect and analyze key data points to support future growth objectives.

Jack grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, and now lives in Minnetonka. Outside of his work at CCM, Jack enjoys playing golf, the outdoors, and being around friends.

Personal Thoughts

My life has consisted of three key components thus far: hard work, relationship-building, and having a positive attitude.

Hard Work

There is no excuse for not working hard, and yet so many people fail to give their best effort. Growing up, my parents always told me to try to be the best at whatever I’m doing. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter what someone’s calling is. Work hard to be the best and success will come.

Relationship-building

“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.” -Warren Buffet

Building a good reputation is directly correlated to creating strong relationships. Relationship-building isn’t just key in business, it’s key in life. Building and maintaining strong, healthy relationships is a difficult full-time job that requires attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Positive Attitude

I believe everything begins and ends with attitude. It’s one aspect of life that we can all control, and has a significant impact on success and happiness. It’s important to bring the best attitude possible to every situation, no matter what.

I am excited to be a part of CCM and bring my hard work, passion for relationship-building, and positive attitude to the firm. I hope these traits will contribute meaningfully to our success and positively impact the clients I encounter.
