Jake Meyer is an Investment Specialist at Carlson Capital Management. In this role, Jake is responsible for monitoring and reviewing client portfolios to maintain balance across asset classes, placing trades though the custodial trading platform, and reviewing daily cash positions. He also actively supports data management and custodial relationships for the firm.
Jake received his Bachelor of Arts in business from Bethel University where his coursework was concentrated in the areas of finance and analysis and analytics. While some of his earliest work memories are serving as a jack-of-all-trades on his family's commercial crop farm, he proudly boasts the title of entrepreneur, having established a vehicle detailing business while in high school and maintaining a satisfied customer base with his excellent service. Prior to joining CCM, Jake served as an advisor support specialist for a small Twin Cities advisory firm. In this work, he designed model portfolios to match clients' risk tolerances, initiated trades on clients' behalf, and supported a high-quality client experience by maintaining accurate data.
Jake grew up on a farm outside of Clara City, Minnesota, and currently lives in Roseville. In his free time he enjoys golfing, playing basketball, camping, wakesurfing as well as relaxing on the boat, and spending time with friends.
Growing up on a farm has greatly influenced who I am today, as it taught me many important things. A few of the most notable teachings were: the importance of patience, how to resolve problems, and how to react and adapt to changes. This background prepared me well, and I look forward to adding my perspective to support the CCM's growth and continued success.
