Rachel Chacko is a Paraplanner at Carlson Capital Management. In this role, Rachel works closely with the firm’s wealth advisors, collaborating throughout the planning process to deliver comprehensive financial plans to clients. She is responsible for collecting, tracking and monitoring related data, preparing presentation materials and assisting with portfolio management. Rachel also facilitates client-advisor communications and works proactively to monitor and complete client-related servicing activities. In addition, she is responsible for a strong working knowledge of firm technology to best serve clients.
Rachel is an alumna of Grinnell College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and history and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. A recipient of the nationally awarded Jacob K. Javits Fellowship, she earned both a Ph.D. in music theory and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in flute performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to joining Carlson Capital Management, Rachel was a tenured professor of music at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She is currently a candidate for CFP® certification. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and playing tennis. Rachel, her husband David, and their son and daughter reside in Rochester, Minnesota.
