Professional Biography

Sam Glubka is an Investment Specialist at Carlson Capital Management. In this role, Sam is responsible for monitoring and reviewing client portfolios to maintain balance across asset classes, placing trades through the custodial trading platform, and reviewing daily cash positions. He also actively supports data management, custodial relationships, and investment research for the firm.

Sam’s previous experience in the industry includes two years as a research analyst at an alternative investment management firm, overlooking a set of mutual funds. He performed investment research and analysis on the financial markets, relevant asset classes, and competitor fund products. Sam is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, where he served as an equity analyst for the university’s student-led investment fund comprised of nearly $3.5 million.

Sam lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Personal Thoughts

I found a passion for investments throughout my collegiate career, from individual stock investing to the complexities of real estate. During that time, I learned the importance of thorough research, developed an understanding of market dynamics, and discovered the value of patience in this industry. From that point on, I was determined to apply my experiences and expertise to help others achieve their financial objectives.
