Professional Biography

Taylor Nelson is Carlson Capital Management’s Salesforce Administrator. He provides oversight on Salesforce development, enhancement, analysis, and administration to promote a high-quality experience for clients and colleagues. Taylor is a resource for colleagues to gain insights into our Salesforce platform, and is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that support our strategic objectives.

Taylor is a graduate of The University of North Dakota and brings experience gained from a Salesforce consultancy. He has received the Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I certifications.

Taylor lives in Bloomington, Minnesota. In his free time, he can be found outdoors, road biking, exploring the city, camping, or just relaxing by a fire. However, once the snow is on the ground (which can seem like half of the year) Taylor likes to play video games and watch the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Personal Thoughts

After being an accounting student for two years in college, I realized that I really didn’t enjoy it and that my roommate’s homework looked a lot more fun. I made the switch to information systems and instantly I knew it was the choice for me. The value of knowing how the software that we use every day works, or at the very least how it interacts with us, was immediately noticeable.

I am very happy to say that CCM is a place where I can learn more about financial freedom, and that I get to play a role in the technological advancement to make that financial freedom possible for others.
