Personal Thoughts
My wife, Maureen, and I are blessed to live within two miles of our son, daughter-in-law, and our young granddaughters. This opportunity, these relationships, and the experiences we’ve been able to have together, whether traveling to warmer climates or simple dinners on the deck, have reinforced for my wife and I how much joy comes for us when spending our resources in this way. In the CCM Wealth Equation this is the A1 bucket—that is, making intentional decisions to spend resources on experiences with, or gifting to, our heirs during our lifetime. Using resources we have accumulated to share time and experiences with them is the joy of my life. It’s rewarding for me to think about how our team at CCM helps our clients realize this same goal.
